As the end of the year approaches, it is time to prepare for EPA Pesticide Registration Maintenance Fees. The fee varies from year to year depending on the authorizing legislation. EPA has set the 2025 fee to $4,875 per product and released the 2025 fee tables and forms with a January 15, 2025 deadline to file. Maintenance fees must be paid in full and on time for all active EPA registrations to prevent cancellation.
What can I do now to prepare?
- Review your current list of EPA registrations and decide if you plan to voluntarily cancel any.
- Make those arranging the pre-payment through pay.gov aware and ensure payment can be made at least one week prior to the deadline.
- If you plan to pursue a Small Business Waiver, please notify SRC to prepare or assist with the appropriate paperwork.
- Decide if you would like SRC to file on your behalf.
